Your Front Row Seat to Vancouver’s Michelin Mile

As the sun drops low over Queen Elizabeth Park, the streets turn gold across the neighbourhood, and somewhere down the hill, Main Street is even more vibrant than usual with the smell of delicious food drifting out of open doors.

This is Little Mountain. With Queen Elizabeth Park to the west side, and some of the best food in the country on the east. There’s plenty of delicious options to choose from.

Vancouver’s “Michelin Mile” on Main St.

Locals don’t call this stretch “Michelin Mile” for nothing. On your walk down Main Street through Mount Pleasant you’ll find a run of chef-owned restaurants that have spent years becoming some of the most decorated dining rooms in Vancouver. From Michelin stars, Bib Gourmands, recommendations lined up one right after another.

Not only do they share in common their accolades, but also their philosophy. Many of these kitchens have built their menu off of produce by local farmers, small-batch winemakers, and ingredients foraged or grown a few hours from where they’re served. It’s food made by people who live in the neighbourhood they cook for.

Whatever the occasion, there’s a table for it just down the road.
